With Marvel’s Ant-Man release on DVD I am now able to share the exciting news – I have a painting in the film!!!
I was contacted in the fall of 2014 by a production designer I had worked with on a previous film for Universal Studios a couple of years back. This time Marvel needed a painting of Michael Douglas for a scene in the motion picture Marvel’s Ant-Man, and wondered if I was interested and had the availability.
Absolutely!
It was a whirlwind of a couple of weeks to complete this 5×7 foot painting in time for filming! I was able to go on set for Michael Douglas’ photoshoot for the portrait. I was fascinated by the production process and couldn’t wait for Ant-Man’s release to see how they tied together the sets I had seen with the special effects I knew would be included!
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with Marvel, and hope you all get a chance to see the film!
